What do we do when God feels distant, our prayers seem unanswered and faith does not feel easy?
There are seasons when God feels close, and seasons when silence seems to fill the space where an answer should be. Scripture does not pretend those moments are easy. The Psalms are full of honest prayers from people who trusted God and still asked, “How long, Lord?”
God’s silence is not proof of His absence. His character does not change with our feelings, and His faithfulness is not measured by how quickly our circumstances change. Jesus Himself promised, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20).
You do not need to manufacture certainty or hide your questions. Bring them honestly to God. Keep returning to what He has already revealed in His Word, and let trusted believers walk with you while you wait. Faith is not pretending the silence does not hurt; it is choosing to trust the One who has not left.
